At our first meeting of the Fall term, the CSRG kicked off this year's "Making Worlds" theme with a productive, exploratory discussion of Zizek's "Do We Still Live in a World?", available online here: http://www.lacan.com/zizrattlesnakeshake.htmlAfter this provocative start, our next session will be on Wednesday, Nov. 6th at 4:30 in CNH 317. We will be discussing "Imagined Immunities: The Epidemiology of Belonging," a chapter from Priscilla Wald's Contagious: Cultures, Carriers, and the Outbreak Narrative (2008).
